A Showroom Philosophy

Our Minor Paint Correction is the perfect process for those more occluded paint works which require that bit extra attention and care to bring back to looking like new. This process takes our Enhancement Detail and turns it up a couple of notches to produce results fit for the Showroom!

It’s the perfect treatment for cars that have paintwork which has lost its gloss levels and those which have mid levels of hazing and surface scratching. Minor Paint correction aims to achieve good levels of paintwork reconditioning with approximately 80% correction using a well established 2-stage process developed by our Master Detailer over many years.

This treatment is perfect for any vehicle and prepares a car well for additional treatments such as ceramic coatings, something we can help you decide upon further once viewing your vehicle.

The Process:

Exterior

Wheel arches flushed and door shuts cleaned
Alloys treated and cleaned including behind spokes and inner-rim
Citrus pre-wash treatment including bug and insect removal
Extensive bodywork wash process using the two bucket method with pH neutral shampoos
Tar deposits chemically treated
Iron/metallic contamination chemically treated
Remaining contamination removed by clay bar
Vehicle rinsed and dried using ultra soft microfibre drying towels including door shuts
Vehicle blown dry using heated filtered air to remove any trapped water and eliminate water drips
Delicate areas, plastic trims, badges and decals taped-up or removed to aid machine polishing
Scratches, oxidation and swirls removed via machine polishing (>80% correction)
Secondary machine polish to restore and refine the finish to a high gloss
Vehicle re-washed to remove dust created from machine polishing stages
Paintwork wiped down with Isopropyl Alcohol to remove residues and oils in preparation for waxing
Protective wax applied to bodywork (multiple layers available at additional cost)
Exterior glass cleaner used to remove smears or water marks
Exterior plastics protected with Gtechniq C4
Chrome polished
Alloys protected with Swissvax Autobahn
Tyres dressed

Please note a 25% non-refundable deposit will be required upon booking for treatments over £100.
